The Room

The last few weeks Aaron has spent nearly all of his free time giving Kali's room a makeover. We wanted to clean out all the junk, paint the walls, and spruce it up. In my opinion Aaron accomplished all that and more, so I have to show off his hard work.

The Cruise: Part 2

Onto the second half of the cruise... Above is a picture of our little group swimming in Paradise. When I say Paradise, I am of course referring to the beach off of the Mayan ruins in Mexico.

Kortney, Chase, Aaron, Me, Kristen, Kristen, Al, and Sean at our 3rd port in Belize. This was my favorite part of the whole week. We took a van out to the jungle, were handed inner-tubes and headlamps, and floated down a gorgeous river through mile-long caves.

Our last port of the trip was in Cozumel Mexico. We actually didn't even see a lot of the island because we immediately took a ferry over to the main land where we drove out to the Mayan ruins there. This is the beautiful beach at the dock where we swam while waiting for our driver.

This is not a fake picture! This was taken from Kristen's camera which is better than mine. It really was that gorgeous! After this shot was taken we all jumped in the water which is where we swam in 'Paradise'.

Howdy

For Halloween Kali rocked a little cowgirl outfit and LOVED trick or treating. Every time someone opened a door to her, she would take the candy and try to sneak by them and into their living rooms. She probably could have gone all night if we let her.

The Cruise: Part 1

It seems like the last several months revolved around planning "the cruise" that we just got back from. We went with some of our closest friends, 3 other couples, to the Western Caribbean for 7 days and had a blast. Here are a few pictures of the trip... Seen above are Aaron and I snorkeling a shipwreck off the coast of Grand Cayman Island.

I though it was appropriate to include a picture of Aaron at one of the self-serve ice cream machines around the ship, since we spent so much time at it.


Coincidentally, 3 of us girls are all pregnant and due within just a few weeks of each other. This is us (Me, Kristen, and Kristen) at a beach in Grand Cayman.

Our second port was at Isla Roatan, Honduras, where we spent the day at a gorgeous resort on the beach. The water was like bath water!

So last week we went on a magically wonderful trip to the Caribbean (will post photos eventually) and while we had the time of our lives, there was nothing better than coming home to our sweet little Kali and seeing her big smile when daddy held her.
